May’s Style Spotlight features Jeannine Douglas, her daughter, Lynn, and granddaughter Renee. All ladies have enjoyed shopping at The Difference but for this month’s feature we talk to Jeannine about her “family first” mentality and favorite things about The Difference.
How did you hear about The Difference?
I was at work with the school district and we were having a workshop across the street from an interesting new shop that had opened. My friends and I decided to check it out, and I immediately fell in love with the women who worked there and the makeup line they carried.
How do you describe your lifestyle today?
I’m a retired school teacher and family comes first with my daughter Lynn, her husband Ed, their children and extended family. Next comes church and friends. I sing in two choirs and participate in a book club.
Describe some of your favorite things about The Difference?
I especially like the ‘no pressure’ and truthfulness (in the nicest possible way) when I need an honest opinion about makeup, a piece of clothing, haircut, etc.
As far as products, I’ve been using the ‘green stuff’ concealer and tinted primer foundation with SPF for years. I’m also a big find of the Tribal jeans – they actually fit me pretty well!
Words of wisdom for women who haven’t shopped at The Difference before?
Hearing sincere advice and seeing gorgeous products and clothing in comfortable setting is simply very special. I feel better about myself every time I leave!
