Kirsti loves fashion but her true passion is the opportunity to encourage and empower women to be the best versions of themselves. She gets to combine her two loves every day when she comes to work at The Difference, something she has been doing since 1998.
About Debbie Staats
A busy professional—she’s a senior project manager for a larger power company—who enjoys experiencing the outdoors of the Pacific Northwest. You can find her running, hiking, enjoying groups workouts and in her downtime, relaxing with a good book.
Debbie’s first encounter with The Difference and why she loved it
A colleague brought her in for her first personal styling appointment. Not a shopper, she quickly realized the joy of being able to relax, try on amazing combinations of clothes she would have never selected for herself and walk out the door with feelings of confidence and excitement.

Kirsti: Debbie is definitely dramatic, and loves splashy, unique pieces. She loves to have fun with her clothes!
Debbie: I will never forget Kirsti defining my style as “dramatic romantic.” With a few insightful questions, and warm attention, she captured by essence. With that information as a foundation, she has evolved into my fairy godmother and trusted friend as we put together a “total me” package from makeup to undergarments to shoes to clothes!
