In our February Style Spotlight we chat with Shannon Heizenrader, a client out of our Lake Oswego store who works with Personal Stylist, Nicole Cameron.
How did you hear about The Difference?
I have been coming to The Difference for about 6 years. I used to drive by Lake Oswego store on occasion, and I always wondered what kind of clothing the store had. One day I finally stopped in, and everyone was so welcoming. I haven’t stopped coming back.
Tell us about your profession and lifestyle.
By day I am a project manager. By night, you will find me in the kitchen cooking dinner for my family and relaxing. I am currently working from home in a desk-oriented role, so business casual is perfect, allowing me to be even more casual at the end of the day. On the weekends, you can find me in a pair of jeans and casual top. I always have a sweater or jacket nearby as I tend to be cold.
Describe some of your favorite things about your Stylist and experience at The Difference.
I really don’t like to shop, much less shopping for clothes. It is so nice to have an appointment, come in, and have a variety of items personally selected by Nicole. Nicole has taken the time to really get to know me. She knows what I like and gently pushes my comfort zone. She often tells me if I don’t love something then I won’t wear it. I can tell her about something I know needs to be replaced soon and she will find a perfect solution for me. Her selections for my makeup are also spot on. And, she is mindful of my budget – she knows how much I like a sale!
Any favorite outfits selected by Nicole?
There are so many it is hard to choose just one! One time I came in and Nicole had selected a pair of blue and light gray patterned pants with a blue top with a texture in it. I immediately loved the top and wasn’t sure about the pants. I almost didn’t try them on but did. And, I love those pants now! The look, feel, and fit is amazing!
What’s something you’d share with women to encourage them to shop at The Difference?
I have recommended The Difference to several women, and I tell them all the same thing. If you want a helpful and friendly partner in helping you feel comfortable in your style and clothes, The Difference is your new home. They take the time to get to know you and work with you. It is so nice to go in and have a selection of clothing and jewelry personally selected for you. The Difference takes the stress of clothes shopping and replaces it with a unique experience tailored to you.
