In our August Style Spotlight we talk with client, Megan Dixon, who works with Personal Stylist, Daron out of our Vancouver store.
How did you hear about The Difference?
I’ve been a client at The Difference for four years heard about the personal styling program through my employer because I attended a a “Dressing for Success” presentation. Once I heard about it and started doing some research, though, I realized I had a few friends in the community who already knew about The Difference and were loyal clients!
Tell us about your lifestyle and how that influences your personal style.
So much of my work (and life) revolves around community gatherings and events which means I’m always looking for the perfect business-casual meets dinner-party ensemble. I need pieces that work well together and can be mixed and matched for versatile usage so I always look fresh and polished. I also, personally, love pieces with classic structure that also have a little *extra* flare to keep it interesting. Just last week, someone asked me if I had ever been to The Difference. Of course, I said YES, and then said, “This blazer is from The Difference… oh, and this blouse… wait, so are these pants!” We both laughed!
Why has working with The Difference made a difference in your life?
The best part about working with a stylist at The Difference is that my stylist *knows* me! Daron knows what I love and what will spark excitement when I put it on. It has allowed me to gain more confidence in my appearance and not spend mental energy worrying about what to put on each morning – what a gift!
What’s something you’d tell women who are thinking about working with The Difference?
