In this month’s Style Spotlight we chat with Marianne Darby a client of The Difference for 12 years!
How do you describe your lifestyle, Marianne? I’m a kindergarten teacher and stay busy, creative and active!
How did you hear about The Difference? I would drive by The Difference in Lake Oswego. I was curious about it, so finally decided to check it out one day. That was 12 years ago!
Describe some of your favorite things about your Stylist & experience at The Difference?
My Personal Stylist is Babs Osterud. Love her, she is a sweetheart! She knows the colors and styles I like, and always contacts me when she sees something I might be interested in.
Do you have a favorite outfit/product/memory associated with The Difference? At the moment, my favorite outfit is a Sanctuary leopard print top, a Nic + Zoe long cardigan, and some brown pants I recently bought. Babs knows I love green so I have some camouflage tops from last year that I love. The Difference has a really wonderful jewelry collection that you don’t find anywhere else. My guilty pleasure is buying necklaces from the store.
What’s something you’d share with women to encourage them to shop at The Difference? I would recommend ‘The Difference’ because it is a small local store that has new inventory all the time. The sales associates are all wonderful, friendly and helpful. They are not pushy and will not try to sell you something that isn’t right for you. The jewelry in the store is amazing, it is often made by local artisans and is so fun.
